The National History Day in Ohio staff is available to come out to your classroom. Outreach services include:
Video Distance Learning Program: For $50 in state and $75 out of state, National History Day in Ohio staff can be in your classroom through video conferencing equipment and interact with your studnets. Click here to sign up for a program.
Teacher Workshops including: Introduction to National History Day, research skills, tips on creating projects.
Student Workshops or Consultations including: Introduction to the National History Day, project tips, writing historical thesis statements and much more!
One on One meetings- National History Day in Ohio staff can come to a school to speak one on one with teachers or students to help them get started on the project.
Teaching with Primary Sources- National History Day in Ohio (NHD-OH) is excited to announce an opportunity to work with the Library of Congress through the Teaching with Primary Sources program. Through the Library of Congress’s generous funding, NHD-OH will be offering two free teacher workshops and free classroom outreach that focuses on using primary sources and Library of Congress online resources to create research based projects for History Day.
