Contest Information

National History Day in Ohio has three tiers of events:

  • District History Days take place regionally in late February or throughout March. Students must attend one of the eleven district events to qualify for Ohio History Day.
  • 2010 Ohio History Day is scheduled for April 30, 2011 in Columbus. Registration materials will be passed out to students who qualify at their district event.
  • 2010 National History Day is June 12th-16th at the University of Maryland in College Park. The top two students in each category will qualify to attend National History Day.
  • Youth Division. Fourth and fifth grade students are invited to submit a modified exhibits and performances at 2010 Ohio History Day. Find out more about the Youth Division!
